If you’ve ever visited the transit center you know the action is all on the rooftop park. It can get busy during the day and the cafe Andytown has lines out the door. The seating is usually taken with people grabbing a bear or slice of pizza. Also the center was designed for trains to run to the unbuilt train which will more than 10x the current amount of people entering the area. That project is 75% funded and will break ground next year. As of now it services a very limited number of bus routes from the east bay.

It's absolutely simple to put porta potties every few blocks it's that easy and yes they would have to be maintained all throughout the day because they could be destroyed but it's really that easy, instead there are public bathrooms in some parks and restaurants and definitely not allowing Street people inside of restaurants and businesses to use the bathrooms, so where are they supposed to go? Some designated bathroom that might be across town from them? Meanwhile San Francisco invest probably $50 to $100 of thousands of dollars for these semi-permanent public bathroom stalls throughout the city that are maintained for between specific hours in the day, those are absolutely fabulous but again far in between and do not cater to the 90% of the public and tourists that are out on the streets needing to go to the bathroom let alone the 10,000 homeless in Street people that are pooping and peeing everywhere on the street
